Organization: Cardinal Services
Frequency: 2x/month or monthly
Location: Warsaw
Did you know that research shows that the more community connections we have, the healthier we are? This is especially true for people with disabilities, many of whom have no family or relationships outside of their staff.
Cardinal staff are exceptional people, but can you imagine your only relationship being with someone who is PAID to be with you?
Cardinal clients NEED people to spend time with, people who will visit with them, go to coffee with them, take a walk with them - just one person.
Maybe you are that person.
Becoming a Cardinal Friend means meeting with the same Cardinal client periodically (it could be once/month or a few times per year, or once/week - that's up to you). Your visits should consist of common social activities - visiting over coffee, watching a favorite TV program together, going out to eat, taking in a movie, or walking around the park or WalMart for some exercise - whatever you would do with a friend.
If you think you'd like to find out more about what it means to become a Cardinal Friend, select this option and you will be contacted to learn more.
